Large Volume Liposculpture

Wednesday, September 23rd, 2009

Despite the rumors, mostly all patients who have liposculpture have only a minimal amount of fat removed. On average, it amounts to just under 10 pounds! This is a far cry from the stereotype of fat people getting skinny via liposculpture surgery.

That being said, there is a type of treatment typically called “large volume liposculpture” in which much much more fat is removed, typically equating to a few drops in size. This type of treatment carries with it an increase in many risks to the patients health. The truth is that only a minority of physicians have the experience that qualifies them to safely do such a procedure without putting unnecessary risk on the patient.

If you are interesting in this form of cosmetic surgery, it’s important you really drill the surgeon and have him or her prove their competence in performing such as a large amount of fat removal. Ask for some solid before and after photos of the work and see what they have already accomplished in others. If the doctor is unable or unwilling to provide this type of evidence, then move on to a new doctor who will!

Liposuction Prices Drive Me Crazy

Saturday, September 19th, 2009

Looking at different prices for liposuction is starting to drive me crazy. Does any of this make sense to anyone? I’ve found such a variation in prices, it’s ridiculous. You’ve got some cosmetic surgeons offering low cost liposuction for something like $800 to start with. $800! Then you’ve got someone in the same town doing the same procedure and charging $6,000. What is going on here people? And how on earth does the $6,000 doctor stay in business over the guy charging $800? I gotta say, that must be one heck of a business model they’ve got going to keep that working, year after year….

Well, I should stop letting such things get under my skin. Soon enough, I will have all the figured, and the cost of liposuction will be a moot point in my history as I flex my muscles in the mirror, happy because 10 pounds of fat is GONE.

If you want to always eat the correct amount of food and give your body all the nutrients it needs you should buy single serving packages of food. That way you have all the information about the food you are about to ea and you know exactly how much you can eat.

Unfortunately single serving bags of food can prove to be a little too costly. If you have the patience you can choose to divide your big chunks of food in single serving portions. All you need is a scale and to read the exact amounts form the back of the food package.

If you do this you will be able to control how many calories you eat during the day and which nutrients you give your body. This is fabulous for rapid weight loss in a healthy manner.
