One of the best methods for getting hair to grow in a bald spot is to have a hair implant procedure performed. Usually, this involves removing hair follicle units from one area of the scalp that still has good hair growth and transplanting those units to the bald area. This works really well if a person still has good hair growth on the posterior of the head. New methods also allow for removing hair from other parts of the body and transplanting those to the balding area.
A third method is to use artificial hair implants in place of a person’s own hair follicles. This is usually done when a person has no where else for the hair to be removed from. Although they are better than nothing they artificial implants are noticeable when placed next to the original hair.
