Choosing a Diet Plan

Choosing a diet plan is not easy. And why should it when we are bombarded with so many different types of diets that claim their is the best and that you will lose the weight once and for all and for good? We have fat burning diets, low carb diets, low fat diets, and low calorie diets. The thing is, all of these work, but the majority of people fail at them. The question then becomes why do so many people fail?

An interesting answer is that our diet history and attitudes toward food plays a bigger role than we realize. This is finally becoming more apparent and many diet plans are adopting the idea of food/diet therapy as part of their program. This is something, in my opinion, that you will have to consider when you choose a diet plan: What kind of support will you receive to recognize and change your habits for good, once and for all.
