Dogs have long been considered man’s best friend and have been touted for their considerable loyalty as well as their intelligence and eagerness to please us – their human masters. As a toy breed, the Havanese is actually a tad bit large for its size. In addition to being known for its famously soft and feathery coat, the Havanese is also renowned for its gentle temperament and disposition which makes caring for Havanese puppies a snap. If you ever do decide to get yourself a Havanese, purchasing the dog as a puppy is key to ensuring proper socialization and bonding between you and your pet. While it is, of course, certainly possible to raise and bond with a dog who you did not know since it was a puppy, being a dog’s first owner does make the process exceedingly easier.
